My first contact was when I called to seek a better place for my mother post-op femur fracture. Donna Thomas in the business office answered the phone 'live'. She was so nice and helpful...I knew my prayers were answered! I came over, and the first thing I noticed was the Christian Spirit, which was refreshing! Your facility has so many nice services and fun rooms to offer! PT and OT were fantastic in my mom's speedy recovery! Housekeeping was awesome! And, how clean and shiny the floors and patients were! I have worked in many nursing homes and hospitals, and this one is above average. And the halls smelled very clean too! My mother was treated with respect by 99.9% of the staff. when there was any problem, the DON and Felicia were calm and helpful, even when things got very frustrating with medication scheduling problems. I do think you need an NP or someone to authorize meds on the weekends and nights, asap. Overall, the Social workers and your Administration was outstanding! Dena is obviously doing a great job! The Activity Director Rita brightens up the whole place with her decorations! is awesome! The DON Lateasha bent over backward to make my mother comfortable in every way. She is a great "problem solver"! The biggest problem I see is the poor food quality. Too many times the meat was so tough and veggies were overcooked to the point it was not savory, had little taste at all, not nutricious, depressing to my mother, and inedible. she ate only half of her meals, at best. She actually said, "I gotta get out of here, Barb. I will die of malnutrition" I would hire a new Head Cook asap. But overall, I have, and I would recommend Glorified Health to my friends and family!
