Bon Secours and Carolina Women’s Health has been holding on this $748 for almost 1 and a half years, then sent check to wrong address and refused to take timely corrective action for their own issues. Question your fees and understand what you are paying. Disappointed to see such practices from Bon Secours.

Dr. Celeste Beaudoin at Carolina Women's Health is the most passionate, nurturing, and knowledgeable doctor I've ever had. I've never had a doctor (in any field) who genuinely remembers me and all of my details. I never have to recap her of who I am, or why I am visiting. Her attention to detail saved my first born child from being born at 20 weeks. She cares about mama and baby equally. If I could see her for everything I would...therapy, recipes, pediatrics, hang nail....EVERYTHING.

It was very easy to make an appointment at Carolina Women's Health, however the staff has been very unfriendly and inattentive each time I've visited. It seems to be clear from the clientele that this office is primarily concerned with obstetrics above all other women's health. My primary issue with this office, though, is not the doctor I saw (who was nice enough) or the nurse (who was grouchy but otherwise unoffensive), but rather the fact that this office will not contact your insurer. Under any circumstance, apparently. I had to have my pharmacist fax over a form for preauthorization, and was then told by my pharmacist that I would have to contact my insurer to see if they would send a form to my doctor because the office refuses to contact any insurance company directly. This is unusual for a doctor's office to begin with, but they didn't even warn me that this was their policy. Very inconvenient and not patient-centered at all.

I was recommended Carolina Womens by a friend. Dr. Celeste Beaudoin is literally fantastic. She actually seems to really care about you as a patient. She takes her time and answers all of your questions, and as it was my first pregnancy, that was wonderful. The down side to this office is that they are NEVER on time. Ever. I have waited an hour in the waiting room, and then another 30 minutes in a private room waiting to see a doctor. While I love my ob, time is more important to me. They have also continued to send bills, or ask for payment in office, even after I told them that I had not received my EOB from my insurance yet, and thus I would not be paying until I saw that they had billed insurance. They also tell you anytime you have any concerns with baby, to come in and you can get checked. The two times I had concerns, I was told the office was too busy and to just go to the hospital. All I wanted was 5 minutes and the fetal Doppler. For me, Dr. Beaudoin is the only reason I would possibly consider using this office for another pregnancy. However, the cons far outweigh the pros for me, and I will not be returning, or recommending this office to anyone.

My last appointment here I sat in the waiting room 45 minutes after my appointment time, then asked what was going on and the front desk assistant mentioned my doctor (Dr. Johnson) was running an hour behind! No one told me that when I checked In. So I said ok and say back down - I was not seen until 1 hr. And 45 minutes AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME. This is reduculous for anyone who has a life - I didn't plan to spend over 4 hrs at this office for a routine checkup. I love the doctors here but the staff professionalism/ level of care they have for patients and the system this place is run on is beyond poor. I hope they take this seriously and address this major issue.

Be weary of their BILLING practices! Overall my wife and I’s experience with the office and staff was great, however working with the accounting/billing department has been very underwhelming. After several prepayments and switching offices to keep same Doctor within the Bon Secours ‘umbrella’, we had a $748 credit on our Carolina Women’s Health account....money owed to us since June 2016, we were not informed nor reimbursed for. After reviewing statements, we discovered we were owed money back and only after a specific request, Bon Secours began taking necessary steps to reimburse us for the overpaid amounts.....17 months later.
