All you can eat Mongolian. It's pretty good. I like the sauces at Genghis Grill more though but this was a steal because of their lunch deals.
Good food freshly made with the ingredients you choose but hygiene is poor. Found a fly in the food. Plates are not all clean.
Went to HuHot last night about an hour before closing. The food was decent but the place was cluttered and the food bars were very messy. The staff was average in their attentiveness but their overall demeanor felt way too casual. The chef kept making comments to my date about how little food she had gotten. One comment maybe at the outset is fine, but he was rather insistent. I could tell she was getting uncomfortable. I tried diffusing it but to no avail. Yes, this is not a fancy place, but still felt lackadaisical, like they really didn't care. Granted, it was close to closing time, but still... Nothing to get excited over. Probably won't be back.
It's not really Mongolian food, but it is all prepared fast and it's fresh. The quality is decent. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable, especially since it's all-you-can-eat. Fill one bowl up with lots of veggies and the other with meat or seafood mix, then add 5 scoops of your favourite sauce - delicious!
Service was good. Instructions were clear. The cooks were pleasant but efficient. Lots of food variety on the line plus numerous sauces (curry, teriyaki, peanut, mustard, etc).
