Take good care of that guy management you don't get that kind of service every day.
We went to Ruth's Chris for our office Holiday party. The service was slow but appeared to try hard. The entrees were not worth the price however, the starters were very good. The drinks were good but not great. It is likely I would not come back anytime soon as there is better in Greenville for the money.
Steven was one of the best servers I've ever had. My wife and I were at Ruth's Chris for our 9th Anniversary and he went out of his way to go over the menu at length with us as well as make suggestions. We've never been before but if we get him as a server again we'll likely be back.

Tonight was my first time eating at a Ruth's Chris and I had high hopes. We ordered at 6:00 and food did not arrive until 7:30. No one approached our table the entire time we were waiting. Food finally came out all at once and was cold. The lamb was completely raw. I ordered a burger and it was easily one of the worst I've ever had. The manager approached us but was rude and unhelpful. The staff made clear that we were not the first table to have an awful experience on a Sunday. HANDS DOWN WORST RESTAURANT IN DOWNTOWN GREENVILLE--do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I have never left a restaurant review before but felt compelled to share my terrible experience in the hope that others do not make the same mistake.
Because we arrived early, Sat us at 7:30........but didn't leave until 9:30. No appetizers or cocktails before meal. I ordered the Thanksgiving meal and my spouse ordered a steak. His mash potatoes were warm. My water was filled once. Very few people eating at the restaurant, so I'm not sure why the service was slow or like eating at the Gold Corral. This location should train under the Asheville and Charlotte location Ruth Chris. Couldn't recommend
We went to Ruths Chris Steakhouse downtown for the first time for my "milestone" Birthday in August. (We had visited the other location in Greenville years ago and was not impressed. But decided because of the location of downtown, we would give this one a try.). Such a wonderful dining experience we returned in September for our anniversary! We asked for our same waiter, Josh, who treats you like he's always known you! I'm a bit picky about my steaks, but they got it perfect on both visits. In fact, Josh even remembered my husband and I are opposite when it comes to steak temperatures. Another sign of a great waiter! The ambiance is lovely and the window seats overlook a "different" view of our beautiful downtown Greenville. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and choices are just enough to not be overwhelming.
