Be prepared for billing nightmares. They will make administrative mistakes, and bill you for their incompetency. Bon Secours also penalizes physicians for taking any days off, so expect your doctor to be burnt out and dissatisfied with their employer - how can you expect them to take great care of you without making mistakes? You, the patient, are paying for Bon Secours mismanagement of staff. If you’re wondering why you’ve got errors on your bills and massive healthcare expenses - look no further than garbage organizations like this one.

I have received great care from St. Francis doctors, even from the Primary Care next door. To the best of my knowledge, I received pretty good care here, as well, although many reviews are not so great, and have me reflecting on my visit in a different light. From my own experience, however, I have to agree that many of the staff could use some warmth. Coldness and lack of response to your patient who's disoriented, uncomfortable with pretty much everything going on, and in a totally alien place leaves two questions in mind: 1) Am I incoherent or unclear??? 2) Will they be more attentive when they *have* to be????? (the answer is yes, I think!) ... I mean really? Are you too busy to talk, smile, or make eye contact? Your patient is a person, you know. She's never done this before, she's nervous, and you won't even tell her where she's going/where she is, what you're doing, or anything about anything at all. *That's terrifying to her. You are heightening her state of distress.* It was a minor procedure, but it didn't have to be such a cold one. I may have only been nervous going in, but oh man I was ready to leave by the time they were done. A friend of mine spent a week at GHS, and the difference in personality was like night and day. Even the air was warmer. I have a personal loyalty to St. Francis from where I used to live. I know it's a big network with strong credentials. But I also like to make normal human connections with people, and that didn't happen that day.

My mother had an outpatient procedure done at this location and it was a disaster. After she was weaned off the propofol. She started to have severe localized pain as a result of her procedure in which Dr. Lebel did nothing to help the pain just ordered her nausea medication which just further added to her nauseous state. He discharged although she had severe pain and sent her to the ER where we waited a total of 8 hours to be told there was nothing wrong and given more nausea medication. When I called to request pain medication from the on call doctor his suggestion was to bring her back to the hospital where all they would do is give her the same medications. Terrible nurses even worse doctors. Just a reflection of the education system in this state which is ranked #50.

ER waiting taking forever. 3 hours and counting haven't seen a Dr yet. Don't come here unless It's by ambulance. Triage and then wait forever

My sister was treated with great care and compassion at the final stages of her respiratory disease. The nurses, staff and doctor on duty could not have been more attentive and considerate, despite their busy schedules and many patients.

Update :after finally getting in to the medical staff I have to say they are really good. Competent and friendly. Upgraded my rating as a result.

Physicians in this system are also financially penalized for keeping their continuing medical education current. They are penalized for maintaining their current level of expertise. How do you think that impacts you? Can you really trust you’re getting the best care if their medical doctors are punished for taking the time to learn the latest and most current best practices of caring for patients? How can an organization that doesn’t take care of its physicians expect you to believe they will take care of you.
