My daughter went there for a severe headache. She couldn't hardly walk or talk. EMS brought her there and she was told that there was a 7 or more hour wait. This is unacceptable. She has stroke like symptoms. Unable to walk or speak. Somebody needs to check this place out. Get somebody that can run the ER. Somebody that knows what their doing. Or I will...

Unfortunate event that left us in the children's ER Saturday night. EMS transport and paramedics were wonderful. The ENTIRE staff with the pediatric dept was wonderful. What could have been an awful night, turned into the best case scenario, given the situation. Little details like the animal wall paper and the fact that they were playing Cars 2 in my nephews room seemed to me like a miracle. Nursing staff, X-ray techs, Dr's and life enrichment took the stress out of the situation. We felt we were in great hands. We were so grateful, and honestly, very surprised at the level of care and customer service we received. Hope not to see that place again anytime soon though!

This is SO SAD!

My boyfriend went into the er with migraines that were affecting his vision to the point that he could not see out of one eye. Got there at 11am at noon he was told there was 4 people in front of him. At 4pm he was told there was 6 people in front of him. At this point we had been sitting in the waiting room talking to someone who drove themselves there around 3pm because they had a cough. This person was called back before my boyfriend and my boyfriend was told they see patients based on the seriousness of the problem. So apparently a cough is more serious than vision loss. Cause that makes so much since. And the fact that every person we talked to had horrible attitudes and acted as if a question just completely ruined their day was just the cherry on top.

So after being taken by ambulance to GHS they sit me with general population because there were no beds...... I don't just have "bad migraines". I have debilitating, stroke-like, I can't talk or walk, followed by a full body seizure. I can't hardly open my eyes or communicate. After all this starts to subside then my head starts to feel like its splitting open.... Such pressure! AND THEY FILE ME AS A GENERAL MIGRAINE PATIENT! I tell them this has been happening for the past 3 days and they don't care! We waited 4 hours and was told it'd be 7 more! Never been more aggravated! I'm waiting for a referral to a neurologist. So I left, it's eased off enough I can talk and kinda walk. The pressure on my head is what won't go away.

Recently, I had a scheduled c-section (labor & delivery) & ever since the anesthesiologist gave me a spinal, I've barely been able to walk, because he "missed" the first time and had re- administer the spinal before surgery. The surgeons did a "botch job" on my incision, however I was felt very welcomed & cared for by 2 Extraordinary nurses,

This below is from my daughter.

I will never go back to this place again! The wait times are ridiculous. I took my son in for pink eye and we waited 2 hours and was never seen. I had to leave and go to another hospital that got him seen and out of there within 30 minutes! This place needs to do better especially when it’s about children.
