We beat the Friday night crowd by arriving a little after 5 for dinner. Hostess quickly pulled 2 tables together to accommodate 6 comfortably. Our waiter, Carlos, was pleasant, sharp and spot on with his recommendations. Highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Shrimp Tacos. Plan on returning just as soon as the weather cools for outside dining!
Pleasurable experience. Not anything over the top amazing. Just stopped in to have a drink with friends before heading up to The Vine.
I've been to this place multiple times, and loved it! Tonight was completely different. Tonight we went to enter Ink N Ivy hoping to drink upstairs....we walked through the front door and got a wrist band. After looking at the line around the side of the building we decided to drink on the bottom floor instead. Instead, as we tried to approach the bar, a bald headed, beaded beard dude physically grabbed us by the neck and threw us out the door without even trying to understand how we'd come in through the front door. May still come to Ink N Ivy, but definitely won't once their Ogre-like bouncers start their shift.
Great food, specialty cocktails, great happy hour for drafts. Raw bar is limited in scope but high quality. Rooftop bar becomes a nightclub after hours. Outdoor seating is limited to a sidewalk bar. Free public WiFi, plenty of screens to watch the game on all 4 floors & quiet booths if that's not your thing. Staff are friendly, attentive & well trained!
Dancing at the club Vine (3rd floor @Ink N Ivy) is singly the best Night Club in all of Greenville... and that's no exaggeration. This is not a bar with a little 20’ x 20' dance floor in the corner. This is a true club where the entire 3rd floor IS a dance floor. Coming from the Tampa market, I've experienced some great dance clubs and Vine could definitely give Tampa's clubs a run for their money.
