PARKING is free. Most parking is located on a parking deck behind the theatre, though some parallel parking is in front of the theatre, and a few handicapped spaces are available on the LEFT SIDE of the building, which is very close to the SIDE DOOR. Through that side door (NOT the glass side door), you enter on a WIDE aisle that is LEVEL with the stage. Sitting on that row, you will have plenty of room for your legs to extend, or even for an electric wheelchair to park.
Was a great day of enjoying art. Went with three other ladies and we had lunch in the library cafe which I highly recommend. We saw the Wyeth Dynasty Exhibit
You might want to look at the well kept SCRAPBOOKS that are near the box office.
You can enter through the SIDE doors (NOT the glass doors) in order to BYPASS THE STAIRS.
*It's a LOVELY building full of elegant spiral stairs that you NEVER have to use if you'd rather not. *Well planned, I'd say!!
A hidden gem we did not anticipate when relocating to the Upstate. Always well-rehearsed, outstanding sets and lighting effects, good costumes, versatile actors. Tremendous asset to the community, clearly a labor of love.
Note: If you volunteer here, you will be given many perks, such as free shows, etc.
I have been enjoying performances here for many years. I AM NEVER DISAPPOINTED!! The acting is SUPERB!!! The sets are great. The lighting is excellent. The building itself is lovely.
The performance was great. The actors did a fantastic job in this musical. There is always a good variety of shows for the season. The season subscription is a very good value.
On a personal note, I saw my first play here at 13 years of age. It was ANNIE, and she worked with a real, golden lab dog. Max was directing then I think.
The RESTROOMS are also on this level. You just need to go outside through one of the two side doors, then go ahead to the glass doors. The restrooms are inside on the right side of the room, whereas the ticket window is on the left side.
Season ticket holder here. Love this place, shows never disappoint.
