One of our favorites. Visibility can be a bit of an issue when kids go up in the highest tower. Bathrooms are always kept nice and clean. Lots of fun equipment and a closed off area for toddlers.
This is an awesome park for both kids and adults. Large playground for older kids with lots of challenging climbing obstacles and massive slides. Small kid’s playground is also a nice size and completely fenced in. Of all the parks in Greenville, Herdklotz has the best view by far. If you are looking for a county park to host a party, this would be my pick. Definitely a place to see the fall colors, on a clear day you can see for miles! Check it out!
This was one of the coolest Parks I've ever been to, not only did it fulfill my childhood dream of a park so large it was as if it was a castle, it was perfectly sized for me a 6'4" man. I have really recommend this part to anyone who wants to have good fun and spend great time with family and friends.
The playground had areas for younger children as well as the older children. The main playground has a large play structure and slide that seemed to be very popular. There is a trail around the park that has beautiful views of the city.
This is an amazing place to bring children young and old. There is a small structure or playground for the younger kids and a much larger structure or playground for those who want to let out their inner child. There is a picnic area beside the clean restrooms, overlooking the small playground so parents can relax in the shade while watching their young ones. There is a walking track, large fields for various activities, and there is even a little crazy history behind the supposed haunted park that sits on the old foundation of the Greenville Teburculosis Hospital. This place is great to get away and enjoy, take time to relax and even pick up some history.
During my visit there was also an ice cream truck that came by and has a great variety of ice cream snacks to enjoy.
