UPDATE #1: At the 4th week with no mower I called the manager. He checked while I was on hold for 22 minutes and said I would be able to pick up 3 days later. Later in the day he called and said it was ready. Shouldn't have to call manager for service. Works perfectly now. Still 1 star due to length of time it took but 4 star for how it works now. UPDATE #2: down to 1 star total. Chain snapped a week later. Found a different small engine repair place. Horrible timeliness and less than adequate customer service.
Love the old fashioned service of this Ace Hardware Store. Great prices and inventory that you sometimes can’t find at the big box stores. Also like their river rocks and slate we used to finish off our backyard. Shout out to Tyler, the manager. He goes out of his way to ensure outstanding customer service. And that’s so important. The staff seems happy and that translate into happy customers. And special orders? Tyler’s right in it. Bravo!!!
They have had my mower for 2 weeks. They said it will be AT LEAST another week. All it needs is a chain. They are good at a lot...timely service isn't one. Very unhappy at this point.
Great store. They employees know their departments very well and help in any way they can. Decent prices on hardware and great dirt and rock prices, especially in this economy. Definitely doing a lot more business with these guys and gals.
We went on July 7, 2017 around their closing time they were I ncredibly helpful, every worker in the store asked me if I needed anything! My husband found the exact, quality irrigation supplies he needed for our tree business. I was super impressed by how clean the restrooms were and that it had an actual changing table for my baby!! Great job Ace!
Incompetent liars. My wife went to get two of our 20lb tanks filled. Apparently they couldn't be bothered the time. They told her that the exchange was just the same as a fill. Which it's not, costs more, and they give you roughly 1/3 less propane, ie: you give them 20lb tanks to refill to 20lbs, but instead they just give you crappy 15lb tanks. I called a whilie back, and was told that it would be taken care of. So I later stopped down, and the guy just says "well that's the industry standard" and I asked why they refused to fill the tanks rather than exchange them, and the manager Trevor, just walks away to go hide in his office. Rude, rip off, liars. If you like these traits, along side the fact that everything in this store is overpriced, then sure, go ahead and shop here. They also try to take your information, and store them on unsecured systems, where the information is neither salted nor hashed. If you like having your identity stolen, give them that information as well. Anything in this store can be found at any other given hardware store and/or feed and seed. I'll shop somewhere that they don't treat you like garbage.
