Great huge used book store. The only major problem I had and the reason for the 1 star is at check out they offered a choice of three magazines for free. I said I wasn't interested. The cashier asked if I was sure and emphasized that they were FREE. After that I picked one since it was free. A little while after that I get some kids magazines in the mail (not the magazine I picked). Then a few months go by and I get 3 months worth of the magazine I did pick all at once and there's a strange charge on my bank account. It turns out that it was a trial offer I signed up for. The only thing I filled out was my address for where to send them. They must have used my card info from when I purchased the books and added that info after I left. Unfortunately, because of this sketchy mishandling of my personal information and basically being lied to for whatever their reason was, I defenitly will not he back to a place I cannot trust with my sensitive information . I would like to point out that I am not one of those people who look for the negative and blow things out of porportion. I suggest using cash only.
I had several friends recommend this store to me before I finally decided to explore. I had such fun browsing and picking up a few books. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the selection is excellent. Books, games, music, gifts- they've got it all. A fun place to shop and get some great bargains.
For those who actually like to read anymore this is an excellent spot minus all the fluffiness of a typical new bookstore you find beside a mall. Judging by the lack of customers maybe no one else likes to read. They have a great children's section.
This book store has a really good selection of new and older releases on books, movies, and music! And they have a bunch of cool knick knacks that are fun to peruse through. But, their prices are a bit high. Could get the same stuff on Amazon for less.
The employees were very nice and helpful, but the books were only alphabetized by first letter and the shelves so packed that I couldn't get a book off the shelf. The Athens, GA store is much more organized!
