This place is amazing! Hot chocolate is great, unlike Starbucks hot cocoa, and it's really great to sit down and relax with the cats. The free drink thing is pretty nice, since there's an admission fee. I personally expected it to be really smelly and have cat hair everywhere, but the place was pretty clean! The staff are very nice. I look forward to coming back!
This is not a cafe, but it's full of soft friendly kitties. This is why we go. It's $10 to get in. This gets you as long as you want with the cats and a free drink. They offer coffee and smoothies, but little food. I'm not sure what music was playing, but it was really off-putting. The cats seem happy and healthy, and there are places for them to go if they don't want any attention. I think it's a fairly good place that will improve over time.
As for the "free" drink, we stood in a line with 10 other people in a very small, hot, crowded room while one person made coffees and other drinks for people. We gave up and donated out drink tokens to another patron, more patient and heat tolerant than we were. All in all, I feel very sorry for the cats in the Organic Cat Cafe and have no plans to return. I definitely would not recommend the place to others.
Every staff member was extremely friendly, and the cats there were all so sweet, plus the atmosphere is extremely relaxing. They have calming music that promotes relaxation, and sometimes the cats will fall asleep in your lap. This place is absolutely wonderful, and I am very happy that I got a chance to visit!
This cafe had an extremely cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff! I visited this past Thursday or Friday (I think) and I absolutely LOVED it. I am definitely planning on coming here more often and possibly taking a yoga class here. Thank you!
This is NOT my idea of a cafe. It's a dark, slightly smelly series of rooms containing 20 or 30 cats. I'm not sure what was organic about it, other than the odor in the place. The entrance fee is $10 per person--a bit steep for the experience, though the cats do need to eat! None of the cats I saw appeared very glad to see people. They tolerated petting, but didn't respond the way our cats do (i.e., raise the head and tail in greeting, etc.). They appeared to be stressed out--perhaps from being stuck in a space with a bunch of other cats--perhaps from being forced to be sociable with a bunch of strangers they really didn't want to see. Either way, the cats didn't look glad to be there.
